NHS Sussex board meeting is now available to watch online

Increasing access to GP appointments was among the topics being discussed by members of the NHS Sussex Board when they met to assess plans for the upcoming winter months.

Members of the public who were unable to attend the live webcast of the second formal NHS Sussex Board meeting on 7 September can watch a recording of the live stream.

The recording gives viewers a better understanding of the current priorities for the NHS in Sussex, performance of services and how the organisation has been working over the last two months.

The board meeting was held following the establishment of the organisation on 1 July 2022 as part of health and care changes across the country.

NHS Sussex is responsible for agreeing the strategic priorities and resource allocation for all NHS organisations in Sussex. This involves focusing on the needs of people and communities and leading the improvement of high-quality health and care services to meet those needs.

The agenda and papers are available to view on the NHS Sussex website.
