Improving access to GP services – what did you tell us?

Survey ResultsEastbourne, Hailsham and Seaford CCG and Hastings and Rother CCG are the ESBT partner organisations responsible for commissioning (buying) the majority of health services for local people. We are committed to making sure that everyone has easier access to GP services including appointments on weekday evenings and at weekends – this is called extended access.

In January this year we carried out a 3 week survey about extended access. We asked you when you would like to be able to book extended access GP appointments, where you’d be willing to travel to these services and your views on alternatives to face-to-face consultations with your GP.

We heard from 1271 of you – which is fantastic! The results we received were either submitted online or by filling out a survey at a GP practice and sending it in. Click here to download the full feedback report.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to tell us their views. The valuable feedback you gave us will help us as we look to commission (buy) extended access GP services locally.
