Congratulations to students as GCSE exam results announced
COUNCIL leaders have congratulated young people across East Sussex as this year’s GCSE results are announced.
Cllr Paul Soane, East Sussex County Council's lead member for Education and Inclusion, Special Educational Needs and Disability, said: “Today marks an important milestone for young people across East Sussex, and I would like to congratulate every student receiving their results.
"These achievements reflect not only their hard work, resilience and determination, but also the support of families, teachers, school staff and governors who have helped them along the way.
"The commitment shown by students across East Sussex will provide them with a solid foundation on which to continue their studies and build their future careers. I wish all our young people the very best as they move on to further education, training or employment and continue to build bright and fulfilling futures.”
