A LANDOWNER, suspected of the unauthorised disposal of waste on his farm, has been ordered to pay nearly £1,300 after failing to respond to a planning notice.

MEMBERS of the public are being invited to give their views on updated plans to make bus services in Eastbourne more reliable, improve journey times and reduce congestion.
Proposals for Seaside and St Anthony’s Avenue, have been revised following public consultation in 2023, include new bus lanes, pedestrian crossings and revised parking arrangements. Continue reading
THE PRIDE flag is flying above County Hall in Lewes this week, showing support for equality and diversity.
The flag, which represents lesbian, gay and bisexual people, trans people, LGBTQ people of colour, and others, was raised to mark this year’s Pride celebrations.
INVESTMENT in the county’s road patching programme will be doubled after a £1 million boost was agreed by council leaders.
The extra money is on top of the £1 million already committed for patching this year to repair sections of damaged road across East Sussex and annual spending of £2.5 million for pothole repairs. Continue reading
