A SPATE of vandalism is jeopardising the future of temporary traffic lights at Exceat Bridge.

GRITTERS running on low emission biodiesel will be working to keep East Sussex moving this winter.
All the bright yellow trucks in the East Sussex Highways’ gritting fleet are now ‘green’, running on HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) fuel, and preparations are underway to ensure the 21 environmentally friendly gritters are ready when snow is forecast, or the road surface temperature falls near to or below freezing. WORK to repair broken and blocked pipes and improve drainage on a main road in Jarvis Brook will begin next week.
Crowborough Hill will be closed overnight between Coller Mews and Victoria Road from Monday, October 31 and Friday, November 11, and again from Monday, December 5 and Saturday, December 10, while work takes place.
