Record road improvement programme planned

A RECORD number of East Sussex roads will be given a new lease of life with this year’s programme of pothole-preventing work.

Daytime closure for coastal road resurfacing

RoadworksA LONG stretch of coastal road is set to be closed to traffic for five weeks while major work takes place to improve its condition.

Pett Level Road in Pett will be closed from Monday, September 30 to Friday, November 1 between Chick Hill and Smugglers End Park to enable resurfacing, hedge cutting and associated work to be carried out. Continue reading →

New parking fine scam hitting East Sussex motorists

MOTORISTS are being warned not to fall foul of a new text scam conning people into paying fake parking fines.
