Secretary of State welcomes ambitious Get Sussex Working Plan

escc logoEAST Sussex County Council, Brighton & Hove City Council, and West Sussex County Council have launched the Get Sussex Working Plan – a bold strategy to boost employment, tackle inequalities and build a thriving local economy.

The plan, which responds to the government’s Get Britain Working white paper, has been welcomed by The Right Honourable Pat McFadden MP, Secretary of State for Work and Pensions.

Children receive “exceptional care” at outstanding children’s home

escc logoAN EAST Sussex County Council children’s home has been rated ‘outstanding’ across all areas by Ofsted.

Brodrick House received the rating following a recent inspection that praised the “highly effective services” and “exceptional care” provided by the home.
