East Sussex businesses sign up to social care trader scheme

SWC EastbourneMORE local businesses have joined an approved trader scheme for providers of social care services.

The businesses have signed up with East Sussex County Council’s  Support With Confidence scheme – a database of providers of personal care, who have been vetted on grounds of quality, safety, and training.

In the Eastbourne area, Julie Ann Norris of Sunshine Coast Support, Jason Nicholls and Jason Warren from Eastbourne Edge Project, Elaine Koksvik from Arc Links, Personal Assistants Natalie Luxford, Angela Lane, Lesley Aitchison and Chris Nicholls – all based in Eastbourne – and Linda Hill from The Florence Support Service from Lower Horsebridge are now fully fledged members of the scheme.

Frances Swain from Duo Support Services in Rye and Personal Assistants, Joanne Hussey from Netherfield, Claire Shaw from Rotherfield and Michelle Thain from Bexhill are now approved traders, along with Personal Assistants, Tina Baitup and Alison Ruth from Sussex Community Services.

They were officially welcomed to the scheme by Colin Belsey, the Chairman of the County Council at a recent ceremony held at The View Hotel in Grand Parade, Eastbourne.
