Funding boost to help support Ukrainian guests

WORK to support Ukrainian guests to integrate into East Sussex communities has been given a boost of almost half a million pounds.

With 1,460 Guests expected in the county, East Sussex County Council is distributing £490,000 to Voluntary Action groups (VAs) to help them support the work of local networks and community hubs. Continue reading

A BESPOKE project helping businesses across East Sussex develop a healthier and happier workforce is celebrating its early successes.

Successful first year for Hastings drugs project

AN INITIATVE tackling drug-related harm and crime in Hastings is celebrating its positive results as police forces across the country mark a year of Project ADDER.

The Home Office announced recently that across England and Wales more than 13,000 people had been supported in drug treatment interventions and more than 600 organised crime groups had been disrupted.

In Hastings alone, 70 people are currently being supported through drug treatment interventions as part of the initiative led by East Sussex County Council and Sussex Police.
