PEOPLE who’ve lived with mental health issues will share their experiences with library users at an event in Lewes.
The Living Library will see people whose lives have been affected by mental illness act as ‘living books’ who can be ‘borrowed’ by members of the public for a conversation about their lives and experiences. Continue reading
CHANGES to mobile library services which will help save the taxpayer more than £130,000 a year have been approved by East Sussex County Council.
A total of 90 stops made by the mobile library will remain unaffected, while 16 stops will be combined. Visits to 21 care home and sheltered housing settings will be replaced by existing alternative service. Watch our video with Councillor Chris Dowling, lead member for community services.

RESIDENTS were given their first look inside the multi-million pound library complex in Seaford
The project, the first of its kind embarked upon by East Sussex County Council, began in October 2012 when building work started at the Sutton Park Road site. By February, the final bricks were being laid ready for fixtures and fittings to be added to the building. Continue reading
