Attacks on enforcement officers prompt call for respect

Bus pass rules relaxed to support vaccinations

BusCONCESSIONARY bus pass holders will soon be able to travel before 9.30am in a bid to support the COVID vaccination programme.

Green light for Seven Sisters site transfer

Cuckmere Haven, at Seven Sisters Country ParkTHE OWNERSHIP of an East Sussex beauty spot can be transferred to protect and enhance its future, the Government has said.

East Sussex County Council has been given the go ahead by the Department of Food Agriculture and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to transfer the Seven Sisters County Park site to the South Downs National Park Authority.

East Sussex Highways emergency team – not just for Christmas

The council’s Highways team are available to deal with emergency call outs throughout the year.
