MEMBERS of the public are being asked for their views on options that will help the county’s waste service save more than £500,000 in 2018/19.
Reductions in Government funding, and rising demand for services means East Sussex County Council has to cut £17 million from its 2018/19 budget. The waste service annual budget will be reduced by £720,000, of which savings of £558,000 will need to be made in 2018/19. Continue reading
A £16.7 million funding boost to support the building of more than 1,000 new homes in East Sussex has been hailed by council chiefs.
