Keep warm and stay well this winter

escc logoRESIDENTS across East Sussex are being urged to keep warm and well this winter, with support and advice available through the council’s Warm Home Check service.

Public Health bosses are reminding people who struggle to keep their homes warm that the free service offers telephone advice as well as money-saving information and tips on how to stay warm for less.

Iconic bridge reopens after major revamp

White Bridge, AlfristonRANGERS from East Sussex County Council battled the extremes of an English summer to restore an iconic county river crossing to its former glory.

White Bridge, in Alfriston, has now fully reopened after being rebuilt during an eight-week refurbishment completed with £45,000 funding from the council and the South Downs National Park Authority. Continue reading →

New scheme to improve Lewes pedestrian route
