AN INITIATVE tackling drug-related harm and crime in Hastings is celebrating its positive results as police forces across the country mark a year of Project ADDER.
The Home Office announced recently that across England and Wales more than 13,000 people had been supported in drug treatment interventions and more than 600 organised crime groups had been disrupted.
In Hastings alone, 70 people are currently being supported through drug treatment interventions as part of the initiative led by East Sussex County Council and Sussex Police.
A NEW video has been launched to help adults with learning disabilities stay safe online.
The animated film, entitled ‘Safety Net’, has been developed as an accessible guide to keep everyone safe online and is specifically aimed at adults with a learning disability and autistic people. Continue reading
