A NEW children’s home which cares for some of society’s most vulnerable young people has been officially opened.
The East Sussex County Council-run Lansdowne Secure Children’s Home, in Hailsham, was built with £8 million of Department for Education funding and welcomed its first residents in the summer. Continue reading
GROUND has been broken on a project to provide Etchingham with a new primary school and community facility.

A PRIMARY school has become the first in East Sussex to achieve an award which recognises its ‘green’ travel credentials.
Willingdon Primary School, in Eastbourne, received the Sustrans School Mark Bronze Award, which recognises outstanding effort in promoting sustainable travel among children, parents and staff. Continue reading
