Adult numeracy programme ends on a high
RECORD numbers of East Sussex residents have benefited from a three-year programme to boost adult numeracy skills.
More than 3,000 people have taken part in free classes run through the government funded Multiply programme which aimed to help those who did not already have GCSE Maths at grade C (or equivalent) to upskill their maths knowledge.

WORK towards proposals for a single local authority in East Sussex should continue, councillors have agreed.
The cabinet of East Sussex County Council (ESCC) backed an interim plan drawn up with partners from borough and district councils which suggests that a new local authority on the current boundaries of East Sussex appears a clear option for reorganising local government.
