Campaign to help smokers in Hastings find happiness

AN AWARENESS campaign designed to dispel a common myth that smoking is a way to relieve stress is hitting Hastings in the new year.

Representatives of South East Smokefree Alliance (SESA) will be at Priory Meadow Shopping Centre on Tuesday, January 6, to talk to shoppers about wellbeing, and the link between quitting smoking and feeling better. Continue reading →

Award-winner Sandy is as passionate as ever

Sandy Berwald will receive an award in the Fostering Excellence AwardsTHE founder of a service which provides foster homes for some of the county’s most vulnerable children has been honoured with a national award.

‘Take a minute, change a life’ and break the suicide stigma

Grassroots suicide preventionA SUICIDE prevention project has been launched in East Sussex – aimed at reducing suicide rates among men and busting the stigma which surrounds the issue.

One You East SussexA NEW ‘one-stop shop’ service has been launched to help people in East Sussex tackle risky behaviours and improve their health.
