Kids invited to grow their imagination with the Summer Reading Challenge

East Sussex libraries are calling on children aged four to 11 to read six books over the summer months as part of The Reading Agency’s Story Garden Summer Reading Challenge 2025.

Cash boost will bring new jobs to East Sussex

Funding boost for walking and cycling schemes

Cllr Carl MaynardPEOPLE in East Sussex will be helped to walk and cycle more – thanks to a £1.2 million Government funding boost.

Plaque marks council’s stance against domestic abuse

Cllr Keith Glazier, East Sussex County Council leader, and Becky Shaw, county council chief executive, unveil the White Ribbon plaque at County HallA PLAQUE has been unveiled marking a council’s commitment to tackling domestic and sexual violence and abuse.

Amended budget backed by Cabinet
