Get the Buzz and get Active in East Sussex

Spray Water Sports, in Eastbourne, and The Canoe Barn, at Cuckmere Haven, are now known as Buzz Active, boasting a fresh look, a new website and a wider range of outdoor pursuits, including the Duke of Edinburgh programme. Continue reading →

Baking effort raises £1,000 for MS charities

Cheque presentation from ESCC to the MS SocietyBIG-hearted council workers got baking to raise money for two multiple sclerosis charities.

Fraudster convicted for using dead dad’s Blue Badge

Cllr Carl MaynardA MOTORIST from St Leonards fraudulently used her dead father’s Blue Badge to park in a disabled bay, a court has heard.

Marion Donnelly, of Bulverhythe Road, St Leonards, was caught displaying the badge in her car in Western Road, Bexhill, on March 13 – more than a year after her father died. Continue reading →

Work continues to reopen flood-hit Library

LibraryCOUNCIL chiefs say they are doing everything possible to reopen Pevensey Bay Library.
