Link Road tree planting work continues
TREE planting is continuing as part of the environmental improvement work for the new Bexhill to Hastings Link Road.
More than 6,000 trees have been planted near Marline Valley Woods, next to Queensway, in Hastings, while a new management scheme for existing trees has been introduced which will ensure the area is managed as a woodland glade. Continue reading
New bus route will provide jobs boost
A NEW bus service linking East Sussex with Gatwick Airport will boost the county’s economy and open up new job opportunities, council chiefs have said.
East Sussex County Council has welcomed the launch of the 380 route, funded by Gatwick and operated by Metrobus, which will see two early morning buses running from Saturday, May 30 2015. Continue reading
