ONE OF BRITAIN’S bestselling children’s authors will be visiting Seaford library next month.
Jacqueline Wilson, who is best known for creating the cherished characters of Tracy Beaker and Hetty Feather, will be talking about her books, how she writes and how to become a writer at the event on Wednesday, April 5.
Views sought on new family and youth hubs
PARENTS and carers are being asked to share how they could benefit from a series of Family and Youth Hubs opening across East Sussex later this year.
A consultation, which runs until Tuesday, April 11, will help East Sussex County Council identify what residents would want from the hubs, designed to provide local support, information and guidance to all families. Continue reading
Funding boost will improve county road safety
A HALF a million-pound funding boost will help improve safety on roads across East Sussex.
The money, part of East Sussex County Council’s capital programme, will be used to assess all A and B roads to ensure speed limits are appropriate, and identify areas where they could be reduced. Continue reading
