New safety measure at clifftop beauty spot
A ROPE fence is being installed along a popular stretch of the East Sussex chalk cliffs this month.
The new fence is being put in place to remind visitors to stay away from the cliff edge following concerns about rock falls and increasing incidents of some visitors standing close to the cliff edge to take photographs.

MOTORISTS in East Sussex are being urged to be ‘deer aware’ in the coming months to avoid colliding with the animals on rural roads.
Every year there are an estimated 74,000 deer-related traffic collisions in the UK, with the risk of encountering the animals on the road increasing during the mating season in October and November.

PARENTS and carers are being urged to complete their child’s secondary school application ahead of the deadline at the end of the month.
