Battle Library in East Sussex has reopened to the public after a total refurbishment.
The nine week modernisation scheme has seen the library in Market Square completely redecorated and fitted with new carpets, lighting, furniture and shelving, as well as self-service facilities, a new display area and space for community events. COUNCIL leaders have agreed to use a Government grant of more than £2million to address one of the worst congestion hotspots in the county.
