Funding boost to help ease Covid-related debt

Creative project benefits care home residents

CARE HOME residents have been expressing their creativity taking part in projects to tackle the stress caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

As part of Everyday Creativity in Care (ECC) , a project encouraging people to use creative pursuits to express their feelings and connect with others, dementia-friendly art boxes were delivered to nine care homes while residents at two others took part in singing sessions. Continue reading

Can you help shape adult care services?

MEMBERS of the public are being encouraged to play their part in improving support services for adults in East Sussex by joining the People Bank.

The East Sussex County Council initiative wants people who have used adult social care services, or know someone who has, to get involved by completing surveys or being part of discussion groups and project panels.
