PEOPLE in East Sussex are being urged not to miss out on a free NHS Health Check which could help them live longer and healthier lives.
The check, which can lower the risk of developing type 2 diabetes, heart disease, stroke, kidney disease and dementia, is offered to people aged 40 to 74 who don’t already have one of those conditions. Continue reading

PEOPLE aged 65 and over and those in at-risk groups are being advised it’s not yet too late to have the flu vaccine.
The vaccine is available free on the NHS for people aged 65 and over, pregnant women, people with long-term medical conditions, care home residents, main carers for the elderly or disabled, children aged two to eight and health and care workers. Continue reading
