Campaign to help smokers in Hastings find happiness

AN AWARENESS campaign designed to dispel a common myth that smoking is a way to relieve stress is hitting Hastings in the new year.

Representatives of South East Smokefree Alliance (SESA) will be at Priory Meadow Shopping Centre on Tuesday, January 6, to talk to shoppers about wellbeing, and the link between quitting smoking and feeling better. Continue reading →

Bridging the gap to help East Sussex walkers

Countryside ranger Jack Cronin works on repairing a footbridge near MayfieldWALKERS will find it easier to enjoy the East Sussex countryside thanks to the winter work of the county council’s rangers.

‘Vital’ improvements to county roads move a step closer

Cllr Rupert SimmonsA GOVERNMENT pledge to prioritise improvements to two major routes through East Sussex has been welcomed by the county council.
