Free slippers giveaway at fall prevention events

RESIDENTS in East Sussex can pick up a free pair of non-slip slippers at events to mark Falls Prevention Awareness Week, which runs between September 15 and 19.

Public Health bosses at East Sussex County Council are running four public events to share advice on how older people can improve their balance with regular exercises, and hand out the free footwear to those attending. Continue reading →

Resurfacing to begin on major Bexhill route

A MAIN road through Bexhill will be subject to overnight closures for seven weeks as a major resurfacing scheme gets underway.

Help with healthier snacking in 2018

FAMILIES across East Sussex are being encouraged to get their New Year off to a healthy start by reducing the amount of sugar they consume.
