Campaign to help smokers in Hastings find happiness

AN AWARENESS campaign designed to dispel a common myth that smoking is a way to relieve stress is hitting Hastings in the new year.

New highways payment scheme promotes business growth

CONTRACTORS working on highways schemes in East Sussex are being paid in a new way under a pioneering scheme running in the county.

Parents of absentee children taken to court

'Get A Grip' - East Sussex County Council school attendance campaignSIXTEEN parents of children in East Sussex have been taken to court for failing to ensure their children regularly attend school.

National recognition for county’s Registration service

Open Doors visits - Students from Peacehaven Community School learn about the science behind wine-making from Richard James, at Rathfinny Wine Estate, in AlfristonA SCHEME which enables young people to experience the world of at work first hand is returning to East Sussex.
