Improvement in GCSE results in East Sussex

Cllr Nick BennettA NAILBITING wait for thousands of pupils across East Sussex came to an end today as this year’s GCSE results were announced.

With 26 results in from 27 of the county’s schools, provisional results show 60 per cent of students received five or more GCSEs at grades A* to C including English and maths. Continue reading →

Reopening date confirmed for flood-hit library

Hailsham open for business as £2.5million scheme gets underway

Hailsham webIMPROVEMENTS to Hailsham town centre are beginning to take shape as work on a £2.5million scheme gathers pace.
