Record road improvement programme planned

A RECORD number of East Sussex roads will be given a new lease of life with this year’s programme of pothole-preventing work.

Villagers asked for their views on HGV solution

Rotherfield HGVs (web)PLANS to ban some HGVs from struggling through the narrow streets of an East Sussex village will go on display later this month.

East Sussex County Council will hold two consultation events in Rotherfield on Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30, over proposals to stop HGVs causing gridlock and damaging buildings. Continue reading →

Artistic addition to Seaford town centre

Transparent SeafordEYE-CATCHING artwork which will give visitors to Seaford’s town centre a comfortable place to sit has been installed.

Funding boost to youth employment prospects

Cllr Nick BennettYOUNG people in East Sussex will receive a boost to their career prospects as a result of £200,000 new funding.

Eastbourne Library remains closed after water leak

eastbourne-libraryLIBRARY customers in Eastbourne are being advised to use alternative facilities after a leak from a drainage pipe closed the town’s main library.
