Annual report highlights successes and challenges

Cyclists welcome launch of new route

Launch of Lewes to Ringmer Cycleway - Aston Salvage-Page, from Ringmer Primary School, with Stanley Olden, and Jack Woodgate, from Ringmer AcademyA NEW cycle route which provides safe passage between two East Sussex communities has been officially opened.

The Lewes to Ringmer Cycleway extends for one and a half miles and allows cyclists and pedestrians to avoid the busy B2192 Lewes Road and Earwig Corner junction. Continue reading →

Public’s views on highways will help shape services

Rob Lloyd Jones won the East Sussex Children’s Book Award 2015 with his book Wild BoyCHILDREN across East Sussex have voted for their favourite book as a six-month initiative aimed at fuelling youngsters’ love of reading reached its climax.
