LIVESTOCK grazing on the historic Chailey Common have been moved to new surroundings.
Hebridean sheep (pictured) and Exmoor ponies currently grazing on Lane End and Red House Commons were moved to the combined commons of Memorial, Pound and Romney Ridge, on Tuesday, March 31. They will be joined by a number of Longhorn cattle. Continue reading

Link Road badgers settle in new home

PURPOSE-built setts have become the perfect new home for two families of badgers living along the route of the Bexhill to Hastings Link Road.
Existing setts in the path of the new road were relocated as part of the associated environmental work. The two new artificial setts remain in the badgers’ known territory. Continue reading
