Boost for business thanks to Victoria Place rephasing

WORK on a major town centre redevelopment has been rephased to help traders make the most of the summer season.

Fencing has been removed from the Victoria Place section of Terminus Road in Eastbourne and the construction phasing has been adjusted to improve access to businesses in the town. Continue reading →

Voices in unison as Christmas concerts return

JohnBarnesCHILDREN from across East Sussex are tuning up to perform their version of the Christmas story – with a twist.

First birthday celebrations for Eastbourne’s Bookends

Eastbourne bookends 3THERE were celebrations and plenty of cake at Eastbourne Library this week as their secondhand bookshop marked its first year in business.

Council gives its support for a second runway at Gatwick

CabRupertSimmons (Small)EAST Sussex County Council has given its backing to Gatwick Airport’s proposal for a second runway.
