Rail line improvements are top priority, says council
ELECTRIFYING two rail lines in East Sussex is the best way of improving capacity, reducing journey times and boosting the county’s economy, a council chief has said.

A SCHEME to replace street lighting lanterns in Eastbourne with modern LED alternatives has passed the halfway mark.

New permit scheme gives greater control over disruptive roadworks
UTILITY companies face tougher penalties for inadequate road repairs and overrunning work, thanks of the launch of a new permit scheme.
