Over-45s urged: ‘let’s talk about sex’

Interreg 2 Seas logoA NEW scheme launching in East Sussex will encourage people aged 45 and over to talk about sex – to try and halt a rise in sexually transmitted infections.

The SHIFT project will encourage people in that age group to pay more attention to their sexual health and wellbeing, and encourage a greater uptake of the services available. Continue reading

Decision due on adult social care savings consultation

THE PUBLIC could soon have their say on proposals for changes to support from adult social care for some people in East Sussex.

Proposals to consult on removing the subsidy for meals in the community, and a review of long-term support for working age adults will be presented to the county council’s lead member for adult social care and health on Friday, May 24. Continue reading
