New campaign seeks adopters for children who wait the longest

three children sitting at a deskA NATIONAL campaign to find parents for the children waiting longest to be adopted is being backed by the regional adoption agency for the south east.

‘A Life Less Ordinary’ has been launched to find families for children aged five or over, children with additional and/or complex needs, brother and sister groups, and those from an ethnic minority background.

Children invited to join the Gadgeteers’ Summer Reading Challenge

Major investment in roads and pavements pays off

HIGHWAYS teams are working hard to plan and repair thousands of additional metres of road and pavements across the county funded from an additional £5.8 million investment.

East Sussex County Council’s Cabinet approved additional, one-off funding at the end of 2021 to carry out additional work on top of that covered by the annual £20.4 million highways maintenance budget. Continue reading
