County council backs campaign to boost healthy living

OneYouDISEASES caused by modern day life can be avoided with simple lifestyle changes – that is the message from health bosses at East Sussex County Council.

The county council’s public health team are backing Public Health England’s ‘One You’ campaign aimed at helping adults avoid future diseases caused by everyday habits and behaviours such as eating too much unhealthy food, drinking more than is recommended, continuing to smoke and not being active enough. Celebrating new recruits to approved carer scheme

East Sussex County Council chairman Cllr Colin Belsey attended a ceremony to award certificates to the latest care providers to be approved to join the Support With Confidence scheme.A CEREMONY has been held to welcome the latest additions to an approved East Sussex care provider scheme.

Support With Confidence is a directory managed by East Sussex County Council’s adult social care department listing accredited providers who have been vetted and approved for quality, safety and training to ensure they provide a good service to the public. Continue reading
