Events open doors for more students than ever
MORE than 1,000 students from across East Sussex will experience the world of work as the annual Open Doors scheme returns – double the number who benefited last year.

Bridge beams to be delivered to Newhaven road site
STEEL bridge beams the length of six buses will be delivered to the Newhaven Port Access Road site next week under police escort.
The delivery is expected to cause some disruption as a 60 metre-long vehicle delivers the nine beams to East Quay, one at a time, between Wednesday, November 13 and Friday, November 15. Continue reading

Careers Hub shortlisted for national award
A SCHEME to improve careers guidance and support for secondary school students across East Sussex has been shortlisted for a national award.
The East Sussex County Council Careers Hub is one of 19 projects that stand a chance of winning at the National Enterprise Network awards ceremony later this month.
