Kids invited to grow their imagination with the Summer Reading Challenge

East Sussex libraries are calling on children aged four to 11 to read six books over the summer months as part of The Reading Agency’s Story Garden Summer Reading Challenge 2025.

Resurfacing to begin on major Bexhill route

A MAIN road through Bexhill will be subject to overnight closures for seven weeks as a major resurfacing scheme gets underway.

Help with healthier snacking in 2018

FAMILIES across East Sussex are being encouraged to get their New Year off to a healthy start by reducing the amount of sugar they consume.

East Sussex Public Health is supporting the latest Change4Life campaign which aims to help families choose healthier snacks. Half the sugar children consume comes from snacks and sugary drinks. Continue reading →
