The council is reminding people that most roadside vegetation is the responsibility of the landowner and needs regular pruning to keep it within property boundaries.

Warning over Blue Badge websites

Bexhill roundabout scheme rescheduled for New Year

Cllr Carl MaynardIMPROVEMENTS to a roundabout in Bexhill have been rescheduled for the New Year – to avoid disruption during the Christmas period.

Dodgy cigs seized after illegal tobacco events

Trading Standards illegal tobacco events - Lee Ede, from East Sussex Trading Standards, with sniffer dog Phoebe and visitors to the event in St LeonardsMORE than 2,000 cigarettes and seven kilos of rolling tobacco were seized as a result of events aimed at highlighting the illegal tobacco trade.

Earlier this month (September 2016), East Sussex Trading Standards held roadshows in Eastbourne, Hastings, St Leonards and Bexhill, featuring the sniffer dogs used to hunt down illegal tobacco products. Continue reading →
