Temporary closure at Ore Library

LibraryORE Library, in Old London Road, will be closed from Tuesday, September 27 to Friday, September 30 2016 for essential building works.

Putting final touches to Uckfield improvement scheme

New funding scheme helps tackle fuel poverty

Cynthia Lyons, East Sussex acting director of public healthPEOPLE in East Sussex will be helped to stay warm and well this winter – thanks to the launch of a new funding scheme.

An estimated 21,500 – or one in ten – households in the county is living in fuel poverty, where they can’t afford to heat their home to the standard recommended to help maintain good health and wellbeing. Continue reading →
