Campaign to help smokers in Hastings find happiness

AN AWARENESS campaign designed to dispel a common myth that smoking is a way to relieve stress is hitting Hastings in the new year.

Representatives of South East Smokefree Alliance (SESA) will be at Priory Meadow Shopping Centre on Tuesday, January 6, to talk to shoppers about wellbeing, and the link between quitting smoking and feeling better. Continue reading →

Road recycling scheme begins in Burwash

RoadworksMOTORISTS driving through Burwash will experience a smoother ride after extensive resurfacing work is complete.

Road closures will be in place between 7am and 7pm on Shrub Lane between the A265 to Cottenden Road as work is carried out from Monday, March 6 to Monday, April 3, including weekends. Continue reading →

Event celebrates completion of ageing well project

Overnight closures for Crowborough road repairs

East Sussex Highways logoA SECTION of Crowborough Hill will be closed overnight for four weeks as drainage and resurfacing work is carried out.

East Sussex Highways will start repairs to the B2100 Crowborough Hill between Western Road and Osborne Road on Monday, March 6, with work continuing until Friday, March 31.
