Campaign to help smokers in Hastings find happiness

AN AWARENESS campaign designed to dispel a common myth that smoking is a way to relieve stress is hitting Hastings in the new year.

Representatives of South East Smokefree Alliance (SESA) will be at Priory Meadow Shopping Centre on Tuesday, January 6, to talk to shoppers about wellbeing, and the link between quitting smoking and feeling better. Continue reading →

Link Road praised by independent assessor

Children from Crowhurst Primary School visit the Bexhill to Hastings Link Road siteTHE Bexhill to Hastings Link Road has been praised by an independent construction body for its environmental work, liaison with the local community and safety record.

The scheme was graded as ‘exceptional’ in three categories and ‘excellent’ in the other two which were assessed under the Considerate Constructors Scheme. Continue reading →
